Digital Signature Certificate in Udaipur: Class 3, Combo, DGFT

On this page

A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is an electronic credential that lets a person or organisation sign documents digitally. In India DSCs are issued by Certifying Authorities (CAs) licensed by the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA). The private key is generated and stored on a hardware crypto token that meets current CCA requirements such as a USB token. We are a Registration Authority (RA) for VSign, Capricorn, eMudhra, Sify, nCODE and PantaSign. These CCA-licensed Certifying Authorities issue the certificates. We help you apply and the application support is included in the price.

Types we sell

We offer three certificate types for most business needs. A Class 3 signing certificate covers GST returns, MCA21 and ROC forms, Income Tax filing and EPFO. A Class 3 combo certificate adds an encryption certificate on the same token and is used for e-tendering and ICEGATE. A DGFT certificate is a Class 3 signing certificate whose details must match your IEC and signatory profile on the DGFT portal. A USB token add-on is available if your token was bought before 21 September 2026. A certificate already on your old token keeps working until it expires.

Where Udaipur businesses use a DSC

Udaipur businesses run into DSC requirements on several government portals.

GST
Companies, LLPs, unlimited companies, foreign companies, foreign LLPs and public sector undertakings must sign through an authorised signatory using a DSC. Other taxpayers may use EVC or Aadhaar eSign. The GST portal accepts PAN based Class II and III certificates.

MCA and ROC
Directors, designated partners and practising professionals register their DSC on MCA21 V3. The Role Check feature verifies that signatures on eForms belong to the correct signatory. A person who is both a director and a professional registers separately for each role.

Income Tax
Companies and political parties must e-verify returns using the Principal Contact’s DSC. Tax audit reports in Form 3CB-3CD have to be uploaded by a chartered accountant using their DSC. Both the CA and the taxpayer need valid DSCs for this service.

Rajasthan eProc
The eProcurement portal run by the Government of Rajasthan and hosted by NIC requires a Class 3 DSC from a licensed CA for e-filing. The portal page for department users mentions two key pairs, one for signing and one for encryption. For bidders the tender notice should be checked; a combo certificate covers both requirements.

DGFT
Importers and exporters use a Class 3 signing DSC on the DGFT portal. For proprietorships the certificate serial number must match the SHA-256 hash of the PAN in the IEC profile. For other entities the organisation name in the certificate must match the PAN name. Aadhaar eSign is offered as an alternative.

Udaipur’s economy and DSC demand

Udaipur is a tourism and hospitality centre and the headquarters of Hindustan Zinc. The district is rich in zinc, lead, silver, rock phosphate and marble. Marble slab and tile units form a significant cluster. These industries generate ongoing demand for GST compliance, MCA filings, e-tendering on state and central portals, and DGFT work for marble and handicraft exporters.

How to get a DSC in Udaipur

The CA verifies your identity through one of the approved routes. These include Aadhaar eKYC biometric, paper-based application with physical verification or video KYC, and eKYC OTP combined with video KYC. Once the CA issues the certificate we arrange free pickup from our Hiran Magri office in Udaipur or courier delivery across India for a flat charge per order. No turnaround numbers are published; delivery times depend on the CA’s verification process.
