Buy a DGFT DSC

For the work you do on the DGFT portal with an IEC. The name on the certificate has to match your IEC and the signatory you register on the portal, so send us those details before we start.

DGFT DSC costs ₹2,090 for 1 year, ₹2,410 for 2 years or ₹3,630 for 3 years. The USB e-token is ₹550 more if you do not have one.

Continue without a new token?

If your token is not FIPS 140-3, the Certifying Authority cannot issue your certificate on it. You would need a new token before we can finish your order, and that delays it.

The certificate for your IEC work

What you will need to do after paying
  1. Mobile and email OTPs. The Certifying Authority sends OTPs to your mobile number and email address, and you confirm both.
  2. Aadhaar OTP and video KYC. The Aadhaar OTP goes to the mobile linked to your Aadhaar, then you do the video KYC with the Certifying Authority. On the Aadhaar method you show no documents. On the PAN method you hold up your original PAN card.
  3. eKYC OTP. A final OTP on your phone confirms and approves the application.

Keep ready

  • Your phone, with the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar
  • Access to your email
  • PAN method only: your original PAN card for the video KYC
  • A quiet, well-lit place for the video KYC

No Aadhaar-linked phone? There is a PAN-based method.

Who needs a DGFT DSC?
Importers and exporters with an IEC who file on the DGFT portal. A proprietorship doing only simple portal work can use a Class 3 signing DSC instead.
What has to match my IEC?
The name and PAN on the certificate, and the signatory you register on the portal. Send us the IEC number and the signatory details first, and we will tell you if anything does not line up.
Do I need a USB token?
A new certificate needs one, so we add it by default. If your token was bought on or after 21 September 2026, choose "I have a FIPS 140-3 token" and there is no token charge.
How long is the certificate valid?
One, two or three years, the same choices as the Class 3 certificates. Application support is in every price.
