Rajsamand district sits about 64 km from Udaipur by road and is one of the busiest marble producing regions in the country. The district’s economy runs on marble slabs and articles, Meenakari work, terra cotta and a large tyre plant. If you run a business here, you will hit Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) requirements on GST, on the DGFT portal if you export, and on the state tender portal. This post covers which certificate you need and how to get one delivered to Rajsamand.
The DIPR industrial profile for Rajsamand describes the district as the largest marble producing district in the country, with marble slab and article clusters at Aidana and Siyana. Nathdwara is a pilgrimage town known for the Shrinathji temple and for Pichwai painting artists, and the DIPR also records Meenakari work there. Molela is known for terra cotta. Kankroli has the JK Tyre plant and is described as an administrative and co-industrial centre with building materials and marble business.
These businesses share three DSC touchpoints.
GST. Companies, LLPs, unlimited companies, foreign companies, foreign LLPs and public sector undertakings must sign GST returns through an authorised signatory using a DSC. Other taxpayers can use EVC or Aadhaar eSign. The GST portal accepts PAN based Class II and III certificates.
DGFT. Marble exporters who hold an Import Export Code (IEC) use the DGFT portal for licence applications, modifications and scheme filings. The portal requires a Class 3 signing DSC whose details match the IEC and signatory profile. Aadhaar eSign is offered as an alternative.
Tenders. Rajasthan eProc requires a Class 3 DSC from a licensed Certifying Authority for e-filing on the eTendering portal.
A Class 3 signing certificate covers GST, MCA and ROC forms, income tax and EPFO. A Class 3 combo certificate adds an encryption certificate on the same token and is the safer choice for e-tendering on other states’ portals or India-wide portals. For Rajasthan eProc, a Class 3 signing DSC is enough. A DGFT certificate is a Class 3 signing certificate whose details must match your IEC and signatory profile on the DGFT portal. A USB token add-on is available if your token was bought before 21 September 2026. A certificate already on your old token keeps working until it expires. See the product pages for current prices.
We are a Registration Authority (RA) for VSign, Capricorn, eMudhra, Sify, nCODE and PantaSign. These CCA-licensed Certifying Authorities issue the certificates. We are based in Udaipur and deliver across Rajsamand district. Once your certificate is issued we deliver the same day or next day in towns outside Udaipur, including Rajsamand, Kankroli and Nathdwara. Across India we deliver within 72 hours by Speed Post. Pickup from our Hiran Magri office in Udaipur is free; courier delivery carries a flat charge per order. Application support is included in the price, so you can call or WhatsApp us if you get stuck on any step.
The CA verifies your identity through one of the approved routes: Aadhaar eKYC biometric, paper-based application with physical verification, or eKYC OTP combined with video KYC.
The documents you need depend on your entity type and the certificate class. See our documents page for the checklist rather than a repeated list here. For DGFT work, the name on the PAN must match the name in the IEC profile and the certificate; any discrepancy in spelling, abbreviations or order of names will cause a mismatch.
