# DSC for the National Single Window System (NSWS)

For approvals on the National Single Window System that ask for a DSC, you need a Class 3 signing DSC in the organisation's name. You add it on the portal under Authorised Signatory Details and attach it to the approval form. We fill and submit the application for you; you do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with the Certifying Authority, which issues the certificate on a USB token. Application support is included in the price.

## Quick answers

- **Do I have to visit the office, and how do I send my documents?** You do not have to. You order and pay on the site, we contact you, and you send the documents on WhatsApp (+91 99299 40143), by email (Sales@digitalsignatureprovider.com), or bring them to our Udaipur office. There is no upload on the site, and we fill the application for you.
- **Do I do the Aadhaar OTP and the video KYC myself?** Yes, with the Certifying Authority: the mobile and email OTPs, the Aadhaar OTP, the video KYC and a final eKYC OTP on your phone. We help you on the phone at every step. If your Aadhaar is not linked to a phone that can receive an OTP, we apply through the PAN method instead.
- **Do I need a USB token?** Yes, if you bought your token before 21 September 2026. New certificates and renewals can now go only on FIPS 140-3 tokens, and older tokens will not work. A new USB e-token is ₹550, and a certificate already on your old token keeps working until it expires.
- **How does payment work?** You pay by Razorpay checkout on this domain, on the product page. Prices are final, with no GST line on the site, checkout or invoice, and application support is included in every price. Checkout re-computes the price from our catalog.

## Who needs this

- Companies and firms applying for central and state approvals on NSWS
- The person who signs for the company on the portal
- Any entity whose DSC name has to match the company PAN on NSWS
- Businesses that want one certificate for NSWS and MCA

## Documents required

- PAN card of the person the DSC is for
- Aadhaar card of that person, linked to the same PAN
- Mobile number linked to that Aadhaar (the OTP comes on it)
- One active email ID of that person
- Passport-size photo, captured in the CA's video KYC
- Authorisation letter on the company letterhead naming that person (plus a board resolution if they aren't a director). The letter must be signed by a director, or another person listed for the company on the MCA portal.
- PAN card of the person who signs the authorisation letter
- The company's PAN card (the DSC name is matched to it)
- The company's GST certificate. If it isn't GST-registered: the incorporation or registration certificate and the last 3 months' bank statement

## Process

1. **Send us your documents.** Send your contact details and documents on WhatsApp, by email or at our Udaipur office, and we fill the application.
2. **Complete payment.** Pay for the DSC and any add-ons
3. **We submit, you do the KYC.** We file the application with the Certifying Authority. You then confirm your mobile and email with OTPs, do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with them, and a final eKYC OTP on your phone approves the application. We assist you at every step.
4. **Receive token and add it on NSWS.** Get the USB token by courier (or use your own FIPS 140-3 token), then open your profile, go to Authorised Signatory Details, enter the PAN, choose Add Digital Signature Certificate and enter the token PIN. Each new project asks for it again.

## Frequently asked questions

**Which DSC does NSWS need?**

A Class 3 signing certificate in the organisation's name, for the person who signs for the company. The organisation name on it must match the company's PAN.

**Why does NSWS say the organisation name does not match?**

NSWS shows the error "Name of Organization as per DSC does not match the Name of Organization as per PAN" when the organisation name on the certificate does not match the name on the company's PAN. The fix is a new organisation DSC issued with the exact name that appears on the PAN.

**Why does NSWS say my DSC is already linked?**

NSWS allows one certificate against one PAN. If a certificate is already attached to that PAN on the portal, remove or change it there before you add the new one.

**How do I add the DSC on NSWS?**

Open your profile, go to Authorised Signatory Details, enter the PAN, choose Add Digital Signature Certificate and enter the token PIN. Each new project asks for it again. NSWS uses the emBridge signer to read the certificate from your token.

**Does every NSWS approval need a DSC?**

No. The certificate can be attached to an approval form. Which approvals ask for it is not published as one list, so the need depends on the particular approval you are filing.

**Can I use the same DSC on NSWS and MCA?**

Yes, the same Class 3 signing certificate works on both. Register it separately on each portal.

**What documents do you need for the organisation DSC?**

The PAN and Aadhaar of the person the DSC is for, their mobile and email, a photo for the CA's video KYC, the authorisation letter, the PAN of the person who signs that letter, the company PAN, and the company's GST or registration certificate. The full list is on this page.

**Which licences on NSWS need a DSC?**

PESO, the petroleum and explosives safety licence portal, runs on NSWS and asks for a DSC. Which other approvals ask for it is not published as one list.
