# DSC for NCLT e-filing

The National Company Law Tribunal hears company law matters, insolvency petitions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and winding-up petitions. Its e-filing portal requires every document to be a PDF/A file digitally signed with a Class 3 DSC. We fill and submit the application for you; you do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with the Certifying Authority, which issues the certificate on a USB token. Application support is included in the price.

## Quick answers

- **Do I have to visit the office, and how do I send my documents?** You do not have to. You order and pay on the site, we contact you, and you send the documents on WhatsApp (+91 99299 40143), by email (Sales@digitalsignatureprovider.com), or bring them to our Udaipur office. There is no upload on the site, and we fill the application for you.
- **Do I do the Aadhaar OTP and the video KYC myself?** Yes, with the Certifying Authority: the mobile and email OTPs, the Aadhaar OTP, the video KYC and a final eKYC OTP on your phone. We help you on the phone at every step. If your Aadhaar is not linked to a phone that can receive an OTP, we apply through the PAN method instead.
- **Do I need a USB token?** Yes, if you bought your token before 21 September 2026. New certificates and renewals can now go only on FIPS 140-3 tokens, and older tokens will not work. A new USB e-token is ₹550, and a certificate already on your old token keeps working until it expires.
- **How does payment work?** You pay by Razorpay checkout on this domain, on the product page. Prices are final, with no GST line on the site, checkout or invoice, and application support is included in every price. Checkout re-computes the price from our catalog.

## Documents required

- PAN card of the person the DSC is for
- Aadhaar card of that person, linked to the same PAN
- Mobile number linked to that Aadhaar (the OTP comes on it)
- One active email ID of that person
- Passport-size photo, captured in the CA's video KYC

## Process

1. **Send us your documents.** Send your contact details and documents on WhatsApp, by email or at our Udaipur office, and we fill the application.
2. **Complete payment.** Pay for the DSC and any add-ons
3. **We submit, you do the KYC.** We file the application with the Certifying Authority. You then confirm your mobile and email with OTPs, do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with them, and a final eKYC OTP on your phone approves the application. We assist you at every step.
4. **Receive token and register on NCLT.** Get the USB token by courier (or use your own FIPS 140-3 token), then register the DSC on the NCLT e-filing portal under your filing profile.

## Frequently asked questions

**Is a DSC mandatory for NCLT e-filing?**

Yes. The NCLT order of 22 December 2023 made a Class 3 DSC mandatory for every filing from 1 January 2024.

**Can a company secretary use their MCA DSC for NCLT?**

Yes, the same Class 3 signing certificate works on both portals. Register it separately on each one.

**Company DSC or individual DSC for NCLT?**

Individual, in the name of the person who signs the petition.

**Aadhaar e-sign or DSC for NCLT?**

The order says an e-sign alternative is being made available. Until it is notified as operational, a DSC is the working requirement.

**Which class of DSC does NCLT need?**

Class 3 signing. You don't need the encryption part.

**Does the same DSC work for MCA V3, Income Tax and NCLT?**

Yes, one Class 3 signing certificate works on all three portals. You register it separately on each one.
