# DSC for LLP registration and annual filing

Designated partners sign the incorporation form FiLLiP and the annual filings on MCA V3 with a Class 3 signing DSC, each in their own name. The same certificate then covers the LLP's GST return and, when the accounts are audited under 44AB, its income tax return. We fill and submit the application for you; you do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with the Certifying Authority, which issues the certificate. Application support is included in the price.

## Who needs this

- Designated partners signing FiLLiP at incorporation
- Designated partners filing Form 11 and Form 8 each year
- Partners who sign the return when the LLP's accounts are audited under 44AB
- LLPs that want one certificate for MCA, GST and Income Tax

## Documents required

- PAN card, name as per income tax records
- Aadhaar card, linked to that PAN and to the mobile. Photo and ID are captured live in the CA's video KYC.
- Email ID and mobile number for the DSC record
- For a partnership firm: the firm's registration documents and the authorisation for the partner signing

## Process

1. **Send us your documents.** Send your contact details and documents on WhatsApp, by email or at our Udaipur office, and we fill the application.
2. **Complete payment.** Pay for the DSC and any add-ons
3. **We submit, you do the KYC.** We file the application with the Certifying Authority. You then confirm your mobile and email with OTPs, do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with them, and a final eKYC OTP on your phone approves the application. We assist you at every step.
4. **Receive token and register on MCA V3.** Get the USB token by courier (or use your own FIPS 140-3 token), then log in to MCA V3 and register the certificate against the DPIN, DIN or PAN that the form asks for.

## Frequently asked questions

**Is a DSC mandatory for LLP registration?**

Yes. The designated partners sign FiLLiP digitally, so the partners who sign need a certificate before the LLP can be incorporated.

**How many DSCs does an LLP need?**

One for each designated partner who signs. FiLLiP needs at least two designated partners, and Form 8 is signed by two of them.

**Do I need a DSC in the name of the LLP?**

Not for MCA forms. The partners sign in their own names, so an individual certificate is what the portal wants. A certificate in the firm's name is for portals that ask for the entity, such as some tender portals.

**Does the LLP need a DSC every year?**

Yes. Form 11, the annual return, and Form 8, the statement of account and solvency, are both signed digitally every year.

**Can the same DSC work for GST and Income Tax?**

Yes. One Class 3 signing certificate covers the MCA, GST and Income Tax portals, and each portal registers it once on its own.

**Can a foreign designated partner get a DSC?**

Yes. An Indian Certifying Authority issues the certificate on a passport and proof of the overseas address. Tell us the partner's country and we will say what the CA will ask for.

We are a Registration Authority (RA) for XtraTrust, VSign, eMudhra, Sify, nCODE and PantaSign. They are CCA-licensed Certifying Authorities, and they issue the certificates. We are not a Certifying Authority.
