# DSC for IREPS (Indian Railways e-Procurement)

Vendors and contractors bidding on Indian Railways tenders need a Class 3 combo DSC, with signing and encryption, registered in the firm's name. IREPS uses the DSC for bidder registration, tender submission and e-auction participation, and the encryption certificate encrypts your bid when you submit it. We help you get a paperless DSC through Aadhaar eKYC and video verification; the certificate is issued by a licensed Certifying Authority. 1 to 2 hours in Udaipur once the certificate is issued; same or next day in nearby towns; within 72 hours by Speed Post across India. ## Documents required

- Applicant photo, captured in the CA's video KYC
- Applicant PAN
- Authorisation letter (plus board resolution if the signatory is not a director)
- Authorised person's ID proof
- GST certificate (if GST-registered); otherwise business registration/incorporation certificate, entity PAN, and last 3 months' bank statement

## Process

1. **Send us your documents.** Send them on WhatsApp, by email or at our Udaipur office, and we fill the application
2. **Complete payment.** Pay for the DSC and any add-ons
3. **We submit, you do the KYC.** We file the application with the Certifying Authority. You then confirm your mobile and email with OTPs, do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with them, and a final eKYC OTP on your phone approves the application. We assist you at every step.
4. **Receive token and register.** Get the USB token by courier (or use your own FIPS 140-3 token) and register the DSC on IREPS

## Frequently asked questions

**Is DSC mandatory for IREPS registration?**

Yes. Bidder registration on IREPS is done with a DSC in the firm's name.

**Can I use an individual DSC for IREPS?**

Not for bidder registration. IREPS asks for a Class 3 certificate in the firm's name, so it is an organisation DSC.

**How do I register my DSC on IREPS?**

After the certificate is on your token, log in to IREPS, click New Vendors/Contractors, select your DSC from the token and fill the registration form.

**Can I use the same DSC for IREPS and other railway portals?**

Yes, where the portal accepts it. Register separately on each portal.

**What is the IREPS Signer utility?**

It is the portal's own signing tool. When you sign a bid, IREPS uses it to read your certificate from the token.
