# DSC for e-tendering in Udaipur and Rajasthan

A Class 3 signing DSC is enough for Rajasthan eProc; an encryption certificate is not needed there. For e-tendering in other states or on India-wide portals we recommend the combo (signing plus encryption). Both certificates reside on the same token and must be registered separately on each portal. We help you get a paperless DSC through Aadhaar eKYC and video verification; the certificate is issued by a licensed Certifying Authority. 1 to 2 hours in Udaipur once the certificate is issued; same or next day in nearby towns; within 72 hours by Speed Post across India. We supply DSCs from VSign, Capricorn, eMudhra, Sify, nCODE and PantaSign.

## Documents required

- Applicant photo, captured in the CA's video KYC
- Applicant PAN
- Authorisation letter (plus board resolution if the signatory is not a director)
- Authorised person's ID proof
- GST certificate (if GST-registered); otherwise business registration/incorporation certificate, entity PAN, and last 3 months' bank statement

## Process

1. **Send us your documents.** Send them on WhatsApp, by email or at our Udaipur office, and we fill the application
2. **Complete payment.** Pay for the DSC and any add-ons
3. **We submit, you do the KYC.** We file the application with the Certifying Authority. You then confirm your mobile and email with OTPs, do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with them, and a final eKYC OTP on your phone approves the application. We assist you at every step.
4. **Receive token and register.** Get the USB token by courier (or use your own FIPS 140-3 token) and register it on each portal

## Frequently asked questions

**Which type of DSC is needed for tendering?**

For Rajasthan eProc, a Class 3 signing DSC is enough. For other states or India-wide portals we recommend a Class 3 combo with both signing and encryption.

**Will a signing-only DSC work for bids?**

For Rajasthan eProc, yes. For most other portals, encryption is required.

**Can one combo DSC work on GeM and other portals?**

Yes, where accepted. Register separately on each portal.

**How does verification work?**

You confirm your mobile and email with OTPs, then do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with the Certifying Authority, and a final eKYC OTP on your phone approves the application, with our help at every step.

**What is the validity period?**

1 to 3 years. Get a reissued DSC before expiry.

**Is a new token needed on reissue?**

Yes, if the old token was bought before 21 September 2026. Since that date a reissue goes only onto a FIPS 140-3 token. A certificate already on your old token keeps working until it expires.
