# DGFT DSC for import and export

Non-proprietorship firms need a DGFT DSC for IEC-related work on the DGFT portal. The DSC details must match the IEC and the authorised signatory. The DSC is registered in My Dashboard on the DGFT portal. We help you get a paperless DSC through Aadhaar eKYC and video verification; the certificate is issued by a licensed Certifying Authority. 1 to 2 hours in Udaipur once the certificate is issued; same or next day in nearby towns; within 72 hours by Speed Post across India. We supply DSCs from VSign, Capricorn, eMudhra, Sify, nCODE and PantaSign.

## Documents required

- Applicant photo, captured in the CA's video KYC
- Applicant PAN
- Authorisation letter (plus board resolution if the signatory is not a director)
- Authorised person's ID proof
- GST certificate (if GST-registered); otherwise incorporation/registration certificate, entity PAN, and last 3 months' bank statement
- IEC certificate
- Proprietors: PAN and Aadhaar linked to that PAN and mobile (paperless path)

## Process

1. **Send us your documents.** Send them on WhatsApp, by email or at our Udaipur office, and we fill the application
2. **Complete payment.** Pay for the DSC and any add-ons
3. **We submit, you do the KYC.** We file the application with the Certifying Authority. You then confirm your mobile and email with OTPs, do the Aadhaar OTP and video KYC with them, and a final eKYC OTP on your phone approves the application. We assist you at every step.
4. **Receive token and register.** Get the USB token by courier (or use your own FIPS 140-3 token) and register it on the DGFT portal

## Frequently asked questions

**Is there a separate DSC class for DGFT?**

No. A standard Class 3 DSC is required, matched to the IEC.

**Who needs a DGFT DSC?**

Non-proprietorship firms operating through a signatory. Proprietors can often use eSign.

**What must match?**

The PAN in the DSC must equal the PAN in the IEC. The signatory must be on the DGFT profile.

**How do you register the DSC?**

Go to My Dashboard, register the token, and sign.

**What happens on expiry?**

Signing stops after expiry. Get a reissued DSC on time.

**Is a new token needed?**

Only if the old token is FIPS 140-3. Any token bought before 21 September 2026 cannot take a new certificate. A new token is an add-on at checkout.
